infibulate, v. rare.|ɪnˈfɪbjuːleɪt| [f. ppl. stem of L. infībulāre, f. in- (in-2) + fībula a clasp, pin, fibula. Cf. fibulate.] trans. To fasten with a clasp or buckle. Hence inˈfibulated ppl. a., fastened with a clasp (see next).
