A white crystalline or amorphous alkaloid, C₁₁H₁₆N₂O₂, obtained from the leaves of Jaborandi, Pilocarpus pinnatifolius (or other species), used in pharmacy. So piloˈcarpene, a volatile oil, and piloˈcarpidine, an alkaloid, from the same source.
