ˈpotentize, v.
[f. L. potent-em powerful + -ize, after G. potenzi(e)ren to potentiate.]
trans. To make potent; spec. to develop the power of (a medicine) by trituration or succussion; = dynamize. Hence ˈpotentized ppl. a. Also ˌpotentiˈzation, dilution of a drug in order to increase its power or efficacy.
