bob-sled, bob-sleigh orig. U.S.
A sled or sleigh, made of two short sleds or sleighs coupled together; used in drawing logs from the forest to a river or public road, and for various other purposes. Also bob-sleighing vbl. n., the sport of riding on a bob-sleigh.
