[f. in-3 + organical. Cf. Gr. ἀνόργανος without organs or instruments.]
1. Without organs or instruments; not having, or not acting by, organs. Said of the soul or mind.
1621Burton Anat. Mel. i. i. ii. ix, Many erroneous opinions are about the essence and original of it [the soul]..whether it be organical, or inorganical; seated in the brain, heart or blood; mortal or immortal. Ibid., All three faculties make one Soule, which is inorganicall of it selfe, although it be in all parts, and incorporeall, using their Organs, and working by them. 1643Sir T. Browne Relig.
