ˈsweet-sop [sop n.1] The sweet fruit of a tree or shrub, Anona squamosa, allied to the sour-sop, extensively cultivated in tropical countries. Also the tree or shrub itself. (Cf. sugar-apple in sugar n. 5 c.)
