[mod.L., ad. Gr. συνέχεια continuity, f. συνεχής continuous, f. σύν syn-1 + ἔχειν to have, hold (cf. συνέχειν to hold or keep together).]
An affection of the eye, consisting in adhesion of the iris to the cornea (anterior synechia) or to the capsule of the lens (posterior synechia).
