A pharmacy or chemist's shop, often also dealing extensively or mainly in other articles, as toilet requisites, stationery, magazines and newspapers, light refreshments, etc. Also attrib., esp. as drug-store cowboy, a braggart, loafer, or good-for-nothing; a person who is not a cowboy but is dressed like one.
