1. To touch upon, come in contact with.
1656Blount Glossogr., Attinge, to touch lightly or softly; to mention or handle briefly, to reach to, to arrive or come to. 1657Tomlinson Renou's Disp. 534 It helps and delights all parts it attinges. 1666J. 2. To touch in relationship.
