Cremnitz|ˈkrɛmnɪts| Also Kremnitz. [f. Kremnitz (formerly also Cremnitz), the German name of Kremnica, a town of eastern Czechoslovakia (formerly Körmöczbánya, Hungary).] Used attrib. to designate a white lead pigment used as a paint base.
