Electromatic was registered as a trade mark for a particular kind of telephone by Messrs. Gent & Co. Ltd., Leicester, in 1912; and (in the form Electro-Matic) for ‘street traffic visual signalling apparatus’ by the Automatic Electric Company Ltd., Liverpool, in 1932.
