Characteristic of Nicodemus; of a literal type (cf. John iii. 4). So † Nicoˈdemically adv., in a literal sense. Nicoˈdemite, one who resembles Nicodemus; a secret or timid adherent. † Nicoˈdemize v., to act or reason like Nicodemus. Obs.
