alexiteric, a. and n.|əˌlɛksɪˈtɛrɪk| [f. med.L. alexiter-ium (see alexitery) + -ic.] A. adj. properly, Having the power to ward off contagion; but used as Having the properties of an antidote, alexipharmic.
