An action for the purpose of proving a witness to be liable to valid objections or to a charge of perjury.

Bell Dict. Law Scot. 854 The ground of reprobator might have been proved both by the oath of the party who had adduced the witness objected to, and by the testimony of other witnesses. Ibid. There is no recent example of an action of reprobator.
