▪ I. interpleader1 Law.|ɪntəˈpliːdə(r)| Also 6–7 enterple(a)der, 7 interpleder. [a. AF. enterpleder (see prec.), inf. used subst.] A suit pleaded between two parties to determine a matter of claim or right, on which the action of a third party depends, esp. to determine to which of them livery or payment ought to be made.
