[Late L., a. Gr. τριχίᾱσις (Galen), f. τριχιᾶν to be hairy.]
a. Introversion of the eye-lashes; also, growth of an extra row of eye-lashes beneath the normal ones.
b. A disease in which small filamentous bodies are passed in the urine: = pilimiction.
c. A disease of the breasts in suckling women, in which the nipples crack into fine fissures.
